․Xinyi Expressway: traffic leaving the city may take the Xinyi Expressway; inbound traffic must turn right onto Songde Rd. as the left-turning traffic onto Shifu Rd. will be closeds.

4. Parking control

A. From 17:00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 03:00 Jan. 1, 2015, all vehicles except buses will be prohibited from temporary parking on the following road sections:
  • The east side of Guangfu S. Rd. (between Civic Blvd. and Nanjing E. Rd.)
  • The east side of Guangfu S. Rd. (between Keelung Rd. and Wenchang St.)
  • The north side slow traffic lane of Renai Rd. (between Yanji St. and Dunhua S. Rd. )
  • The west side of Sec. 2, Keelung Rd. (between Wenchang St. and Guangfu S. Rd. )
  • The west side of Songde Rd. (between Xinyi Rd. and Hulin St.)
  • The South side slow traffic lane of Xinyi Rd. (between Dunhua S. Rd and Tonghua St. )
  • The East side slow traffic lane of Bade Rd. (between Guangfu N. Rd. and Ln. 106, Sec. 4, Bade Rd )
B. From 17:00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 03:00 Jan.1, 2015, roadside parking will be unavailable in the following road sections:

Yanji St. (between Civic Blvd. and Xinyi Rd.), Lane 236, Sec. 5, Zhongxiao E. Rd. (between Zhongxiao E. Rd. and Lane 168, Songde Rd.) and Lane 168, Songde Rd. (between Songde Rd. and Lane 236, Sec. 5, Zhongxiao E. Rd.) .

C. Parking lots in the control zone will be controlled starting 19:00 Dec. 31, 2014 (only inbound traffic prohibited); no traffic will be allowed starting 20:00.

5. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Service

The MRT will offer services to countdown event-goers for a consecutive 24 hours (Xiaobitan and Xinbeitou Branch Lines will be operate until 24:00

6. Taipei City Hall Bus Station

Inbound traffic will be prohibited starting at 19:00 Dec. 31, 2014 and the station will be closed at 19:30.

7. Underground path at Taipei City Hall Bus Station

Taipei City Hall Bus Station underground path: Closed starting at 22:00 Dec. 31, 2014.
Taipei 101/World trade center station 4th Exit underground path: Closed starting at 22:00 Dec. 31, 2014.

8. Traffic Control on Xinyi Sky Bridge

Closed starting at 22:00 Dec. 31, 2014.

9. Xinyi Road、Jilong Road intersection over-bridge

The sky bridge will be closed starting at 22:00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 01:00 Jan. 1, 2015.

10. Operating hours of Maokong Gondola

The Maokong Gondola will operate until 02:00.

11.  Traffic Restrictions in the Sishou Shan (Four Beasts Mountain) Area

Songde Road in front of the Songde Building and the junction in front of the Tsu Huei Temple will be subject to traffic restriction.

12. Bus Route Adjustments and Taipei City Hall Bus Station Traffic Restrictions

(1) Bus route adjustments due to stage installation from 14: 00 Dec. 25, 2014 to 06: 00 Jan. 02, 2015 (detail information)
(2) Connecting shuttle buses and route adjustments of city buses immediately following the Taipei City New Year's Party (detail information)
  • Phase 1 and phase 2: from 19: 00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 22: 00 Dec. 31, 2014
  • phase 3: from 22: 00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 03: 00 Jan. 01, 2015

13. Important Notice Concerning the End of the Taipei City New Year's Party:

Civic Blvd Expressway will NOT be accessible via Lanes 553 and 559, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road. To access Civic Blvd Expressway, please change your route by taking Guangfu South Road or Keelung Road.

14. YouBike control:

YouBikes will NOT be permitted to enter ANY PART of the Restricted Area on December 31. Designated YouBike stations will also be subject to the following traffic restrictions:
(1) From 17:00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 5:00 Jan. 01, 2015, service will be suspended at a total of 10 YouBike stations in and around the stage area for 2015 Taipei City New Year's Party (see map for details).
(2) From 20:00 Dec. 31, 2014 to 6:00 Jan. 01, 2015, in addition to the 10 stations mentioned above, service will also be suspended at another 4 stations around the stage area for 2015 Taipei City New Year's Party.
